>14th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards 2008 – Indicados

A atriz Jeanne Tripplehorn (do seriado “Big Love”) e o ator Terrence Howard (de “Ritmo de um Sonho”) acabam de anunciar os indicados à 14a. edição dos prêmios Screen Actors Guild Awards. “Into the Wild”, do diretor Sean Penn, conseguiu o maior número de indicações ao prêmio: foram quatro. Do lado de TV, os mais indicados foram “Ugly Betty”, “The Sopranos” e “30 Rock”, com 3 menções cada.

As maiores surpresas na lista de indicados vieram nas categorias de cinema. Nomes até então esquecidos nas listas de outras premiações, como os de Ruby Dee (“American Gangster”), Tommy Lee Jones (“No Country for Old Men”) e o elenco de “3:10 to Yuma” foram lembrados. No entanto, chama a atenção a categoria de Male Actor in a Leading Role, em que tudo está completamente embolado para o Oscar.

As ausências da lista que mais são sentidas: Amy Adams (“Enchanted”), Johnny Depp (“Sweeney Todd – The Demon Barber of Fleet Street”) e dos elencos de “Juno” e “Atonement”. Sem nenhuma indicação ao SAG, o filme de Joe Wright vê suas chances de sair vencedor no próximo Oscar levemente enfraquecidas.

Screen Actors Guild Awards 44th Annual Life Achievement Award: Charles Durning

A cerimônia de entrega dos prêmios SAG acontecerá no dia 27 de Janeiro de 2008, com transmissão ao vivo para a América Latina do canal TNT. Ao contrário do que aconteceu com o Golden Globe Awards, que recebeu um não do WGA (que está em plena greve); os atores, por estarem sendo solidários aos roteiristas na sua luta, já receberam o aval do sindicato e podem realizar, sem problemas, a produção de seu show.
