Assistir a um prêmio do SAG é ser testemunha de uma ocasião especial, em que atores de cinema e de televisão se encontram em uma única sala para celebrar a arte que eles tanto adoram. E tudo isso começa no tapete vermelho, quando os atores mostram, com orgulho, sua carteirinha do sindicato; e atinge seu ápice na já clássica abertura do show de premiação, quando atores selecionados compartilham suas histórias de vida e encerram com o famoso bordão: “Meu nome é fulano de tal e eu sou um ator”.
